Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd.,
General Privacy Policy Statement
Updated Feb 2005
At Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd., we aim to achieve the highest levels of
customer satisfaction in everything we do. Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd.
recognizes its obligations to its customers, community and online visitors while
operating by the highest standards of decency, fairness, and integrity.
We respect your privacy and will ensure that any personal information you
voluntarily submit to us will remain secure. Likewise, Dynamic Direction Sdn.
Bhd. is dedicated to the fundamentals of protecting children's privacy on the
Internet.
At Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd., it is not our company's policy to collect
personal information from children. We never require personal information from
children to gain access to our Web site or use our Web browser products without
verified parental consent. Any information sent to us is given on a voluntary
basis by parents or guardians and serves the purposes we've outlined below.
Children under the age of 13 must obtain the consent of a parent or guardian
before providing information to us. We promise to maintain the privacy of you
and your child and will not sell or provide this information to third parties.
To help ensure a rewarding online experience for your child, we have summarized
our information practices below
What do I need to know about registration?
Registration:
The features of the application are described below in this policy. A parent or
guardian is required to provide contact information, such as a valid e-mail
address, full name, address, and phone number. That parent or guardian has now
become the administrator of the account. Since the administrator’s password is
the key to parental control and safety features, we urge parent/guardian to
change the default password provided with the software CD to a new password that
their child cannot guess. If a parent/guardian forgets the password, he or she
can contact Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd. Either by mail or telephone. For
security purposes, Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd. Need to verify the contact
information which provided during the registration process before resetting the
administrator’s password to the default password.
Chat
Chat: Children can chat with people who are users of SurfNet browser only.
Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd. does not monitor chat, but the personal information
and language filters (see below) provide added security for children during chat
sessions.
Personal Information Filter
As a member, this feature is activated to prevent the child from giving out
personal information about themselves or their family during chat sessions. The
personal information that is entered during registration is stored for the
filter technology to recognize, i.e., name, age and nickname.
Language Filter
Paying members benefit from this feature during chat sessions. Dynamic Direction
Sdn. Bhd. has a master list of inappropriate words that prevents the child from
sending these words in chats.
What information do we collect?
We may collect a limited amount of personally identifiable information in the
form of first names, parent's e-mail addresses, city, state and age. To enable
children to participate in some of our online activities, we may ask them to
send us e-mail messages to which we will respond. This information is not
retained for longer than it takes to respond to the message. We retain no
personally identifiable information from either the original message or our
response.
What do we do with the information we collect?
Contests and Activities:
Information collected from children in various activities and contests within
our applications may include the child's first name, e-mail address, parent's
e-mail address, city, state, and age. This information is used for
identification and contact purposes only. Any other personal information that is
collected unintentionally, such as last name or street address is never stored
and never displayed online. Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd. will ask for parental
consent before publishing a child's contest entry (or other such submission
online) or before sending contest prizes to a child. Parents or guardians have
the right to review their child's information, ask that submissions are not
published and/or ask that any other entry information be changed.
Surveys:
Our services are open to all of our visitors - you are not required to provide
any personal information to access our site. Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd. will
occasionally conduct surveys to get feedback from parents or guardians on member
services, support, product offerings, system upgrades, content and publications.
Participation in such surveys is voluntary. Currently we do not collect personal
information from children in surveys. Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd. may request
personal information from parents who volunteer to participate in surveys,
including the following:
- E-mail address
- Gender of parent (and children)
- Number and ages of children
- Zip/Postal Code
- Parent's Date of Birth
Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd. may use this information to occasionally send
the parent e-mail updates about: (1) important functionality changes; (2)
special offers available through us on behalf of our partners; (3) new
application services; and (4) other Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd. news items.
Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd. does not send unsolicited or "spam" e-mail. Any
e-mail we send will include instructions on how to unsubscribe from our
mailing list. Of course, the parent will always have the option of letting us
know by sending e-mail to support@surfnet2u.com with "Remove" or "Unsubscribe"
in the subject line of the e-mail.
Online Product Registration:
The information gathered through our online registration process is used for
verification of subscribers' identity and, most importantly, the child's
protection. It is used by Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd. technical support and
customer service in order to respond to technical, service, or privacy concerns.
The parent or guardian should complete the registration form. It is not intended
for the use of children.
Newsletter:
Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd. intends to create a newsletter which will be sent to
subscribers and contains information about new content, news, features, and
parent/teacher resources. All recipients may cancel, start, or resume their
subscription at any time.
Cookies:

What about the collection of information by third parties?

highest standards of quality and age-appropriate content that we have set for
our own site, Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd. is not responsible for any content
that appears on a Web site in our databases. Additionally, the privacy and data
collection practices on any linked Web sites are entirely separate from Dynamic

information received from our online visitors remains as secure as possible
against unauthorized access and use. All personal information provided by
customers is kept in secure database, and is protected by our security measures,
which are periodically reviewed. Bear in mind, however, that no data
transmission over the Internet is 100% secure and any information disclosed
online can potentially be collected and used by parties other than the intended
recipient.
What if we make changes to this Privacy Policy?
Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd. Web sites' content and features may be updated,
revised, modified and supplemented. Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd. reserves the
right to change the information, features, products, policies, promotions,
disclosures and disclaimers at any time. Changes to this Privacy Policy will be

top of the policy we will indicate the date of an update to the Privacy Policy.
The continued use of the Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd. Web site following the
posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will mean that the
parent/administrator accepts those changes. Any parental or guardian consent
provided to Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd. will be deemed to apply to the revised
privacy policy and new or modified features unless there is a material change in
our data collection, use or disclosure practices, in which case we will obtain a
new consent. Dynamic Direction Sdn. Bhd. will ask the parent/administrator to
provide a new consent form and the child will not be allowed to use the
application until updated consent is provided.
